Job summary

Tahaluf is seeking an experienced Operations Manager (Events) for a 9-month contract to oversee operational delivery across large-scale events in the EMEA region. You will ensure projects meet high standards, manage budgets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and sponsors.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in events or exhibitions, fluent Arabic and English, and a track record of leading multiple reports. IOSH certification and willingness to travel across time zones are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of events or exhibition industry experience or similar.
• Proven ability to independently manage operations on multiple large events.
• Experience in managing and developing multiple direct reports.
• Strong knowledge of the exhibition industry and venues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Arabic.
• Familiarity with procurement best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the professional operational delivery of allocated events to the highest standards.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and service level agreements for show operations.
• Oversee production and delivery of show projects and plans across multiple events.
• Ensure compliance with H&S, sustainability and company policies.
• Mentor and develop line reports within the EMEA Operations team.
• Collaborate with procurement and sponsors on briefings and deliverables.
• Prepare post-event reports and KPI analyses.
