Job description

The Senior Electrical Engineer will oversee all electrical design, coordination, installation, and commissioning activities for hotel/hospitality projects, ensuring compliance with international standards, operator requirements, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and review electrical designs, drawings, load calculations, and specifications for hotel projects.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems (lighting, power distribution, ELV, fire alarm, etc.).
• Support procurement by evaluating technical submittals, material approvals, and vendor selections.
• Monitor site execution, testing & commissioning, and ensure compliance with design standards, codes, and hotel operator guidelines.
• Oversee implementation of energy-efficient systems, sustainability requirements, and smart building technologies.
• Resolve technical issues, conduct site inspections, and ensure adherence to project quality and HSE standards.
• Review method statements, shop drawings, and ensure timely delivery of MEP works aligned with project schedule.
• Prepare progress reports and provide engineering updates to the Project Manager and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering for hospitality/hotel/resort or mixed-use projects.
• Strong understanding of hotel brand standards
• Experience working with consultants, PMCs, or contractors on large‑scale developments.
