Job description

KEO International Consultants is a highly ranked and award winning planning, architecture, engineering and project and construction management firm with offices in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Bahrain, Dubai, Jordan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

An exciting opportunity to work within KEO’s Project Management and Construction Management (PM/CM) Division as a Senior Electrical / Telecommunications Engineer. You will serve as a technical representative on medium voltage, street lighting and telecommunications related issues, field inspection disputes, quality management observation and document review. You will be part of the project management team during infrastructure construction phase of a large 9,000 unit master planned community in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Key Qualifications & Responsibilities
  • Ability to advise the Project Management team and Client on technical issues regarding the interface with utility agencies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MV electrical design, procurement and construction means/methods and codes.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of telecommunications design, construction and procurement standards and codes.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of street lighting design construction and procurement standards and codes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written.
  • Mature relationship building skills.

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline with a minimum of 10 years of post‑graduate experience.

Previous experience gained within a consultancy would be beneficial, whilst prior experience in the Gulf Region is advantageous.
