Position Overview

The Senior Director - Commercial & Reporting for Master Development at Qiddiya Investment Company will lead our commercial strategy and financial reporting initiatives across multiple high-impact projects. This role is critical in ensuring the strategic management of resources, risk assessment, and performance tracking to help deliver Qiddiya's ambitious vision of becoming a world-class entertainment and cultural destination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and enhance the commercial function and reporting practices across multiple projects within the Master Development portfolio.
  • Develop and implement innovative commercial strategies that align with Qiddiya’s objectives and drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • Lead financial planning cycles, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting, presenting key insights and trends to senior management and the board.
  • Collaborate closely with project directors and stakeholders to define financial metrics and monitor overall project performance.
  • Manage the production of comprehensive reports detailing financial performance, risks, and strategic opportunities for the company.
  • Formulate and enforce policies for financial controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a strategic partner to project teams, providing commercial insights that support decision‑making processes.
  • Lead a high‑performing team, promoting a culture of excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including financial institutions and regulatory bodies, to enhance strategic partnerships and funding opportunities.
  • Champion initiatives for process improvements, identifying areas for efficiency gains in reporting and commercial operations.
Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Finance, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in commercial management and financial reporting, preferably in a master development or large project environment.
  • In‑depth knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, with a strong understanding of the construction or real estate industry.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with proven experience in managing diverse teams and driving results.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing at senior levels.
  • Experience working in high‑stakes environments with a strategic mindset and strong problem‑solving abilities.
  • Proficient in relevant financial software and reporting tools, with a solid understanding of enterprise management systems.
  • Previous experience in the Middle East region is highly desirable.
