Job summary

ISE, part of BAE Systems, is hiring a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer in Riyadh. The role focuses on designing and maintaining security measures, SIEM systems, and proactive threat detection to safeguard data and infrastructure.

The candidate should have a university degree in CS or Data Science, certifications (CSSP/CISSP/GIAC), and at least 5 years in IT security. Saudi national employees are prioritized under local benefits.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain and upgrade security measures to protect data, systems and networks.
• Design, implement and maintain SIEM and SIEM dashboards, use cases and detection rules.
• Fine tune rules and use cases in SIEM to improve detection.
• Respond to security breaches and troubleshoot security incidents.
• Conduct vulnerability testing and scans to identify weaknesses.
• Participate in change management processes.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, maintaining, overseeing, and upgrading all security measures needed to protect organizations’ data, systems, and networks.
• Designing, implementing, maintaining Security Information Event Management SIEM.
• Designing, implementing, maintaining SIEM Dashboards, use cases and detection rules.
• Fine tuning and filtering for rules and use case in SIEM.
• Responding to all security breaches to the network and associated systems.
• Troubleshooting all network and security issues and incidents.
• Taking appropriate security measures to ensure that the organization’s infrastructure and existing data are kept safe.
• Conducting testing and scans to identify any vulnerabilities in the network and system.
• Taking an active role in the change management process.

Job Requirements

• Education: University degree in Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent.
• CSSP, CISSP, GIAC Detection Engineering.
• Experience: 5+ years on IT security, Network Security fields.
• Problem solving and Analytical thinking.
