A leading consulting company in Riyadh is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant for a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, be a Saudi National, and speak Arabic. Responsibilities include defining cybersecurity strategies, conducting assessments, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Strong certifications such as CISSP or CISM are required. Qualifications

We are partnering with one of the Systems Provider in Riyadh, KSA. We are looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant (6 months contract).

Job Description : Role overview :

The Senior Cybersecurity Consultant will operate in a strategic advisory capacity, driving the company's cybersecurity maturity, regulatory alignment, and overall security posture. This role is ideal for a seasoned cybersecurity professional with proven experience in regulatory frameworks and the ability to lead executive-level discussions.

The mission is to drive the overall cybersecurity strategy and the maturity enhancement of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define the organization's cybersecurity strategy and maturity roadmap.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and technical teams.
  • Lead assessments of the current security posture and identify risks, gaps, and improvements.
  • Ensure consistent alignment with Saudi regulatory frameworks including SAMA CSF and CST / CITC.
  • Support risk management activities and advise on mitigation strategies.
  • Drive compliance initiatives aligned with international frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, COBIT).

Profile / Requirements :

Experience Required :
  • Saudi National preferred - Arabic speaker mandatory
  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with strong exposure to governance, risk, compliance, and strategy.
  • Certification and experience with CISSP or CISM
  • Certification and experience working with ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor
  • Proven hands-on experience with SAMA Cybersecurity Framework and CST / CITC regulations
  • Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders, deliver clear documentation, and advise at a strategic level.
  • Background in telecom, ISP, digital services, IT, or any regulated sector
Strongly Recommended Certifications

CRISC, CCISO, Cloud Security certifications (AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, or CCSP), COBIT 5 / COBIT 2019.
