Job summary

A global real estate firm is seeking a Senior Cost Manager in Jeddah to lead commercial and cost management efforts for projects. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in financial planning and cost control, with a strong background in construction technology. This is an on-site position requiring a Bachelor's degree and Chartered membership in a relevant body, along with proficiency in related cost management software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10-12 years of progressive cost management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic cost planning and budget development for major projects.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and lifecycle cost analysis.
• Manage commercial aspects of multiple concurrent projects.
• Lead contract administration and change management processes.

Skills

Proficiency with ACONEX Connected Cost software

Expert knowledge of measurement and estimating techniques

Strong understanding of construction technology and methodologies

Experience with digital cost management tools and platforms

Education

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or Finance

Advanced degree (MSc / MBA) preferred

Chartered membership with RICS, AIQS, or equivalent professional body

What this job involves :

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Cost Manager to lead commercial and cost management activities in our project in Taif . This strategic role requires expertise in financial planning cost control and commercial management with responsibility for delivering projects within budget while maximizing value for clients.

What your day-to-day will look like :

Pre-Contract Services

• Lead strategic cost planning and budget development for major projects
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and lifecycle cost analyze
• Lead value engineering workshops and studies
• Lead tender evaluation processes and contractor selection
• Develop cash flow projections and financial models

Post-Contract Services

• Manage commercial aspects of multiple concurrent projects
• Lead contract administration and change management processes
• Implement robust cost control systems and procedures
• Lead commercial risk assessment and mitigation strategies
• Manage complex claims and dispute resolution processes

Desired or preferred experience and technical skills :

• P roficiency with ACONEX Connected Cost software
• Expert knowledge of measurement and estimating techniques
• Strong understanding of construction technology and methodologies
• Experience with digital cost management tools and platforms
