Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant (Project Reporting) to support one of the world’s largest and most complex infrastructure programmes. This is a client‑embedded consultancy role with ownership of executive‑level reporting and presentations for senior client stakeholders. The successful candidate will be trusted to shape, produce, and deliver high‑quality reporting outputs in a fast‑moving, high‑governance environment, often with limited direction and short turnaround times.

The role offers direct exposure to senior client leadership and programme boards, providing a platform for career progression.

Key Responsibilities
Executive Reporting & Presentations
  • Own the production of executive‑ready PowerPoint presentations for senior client leadership, steering committees, and programme boards
  • Translate complex technical, commercial, and programme information into clear, concise, and compelling executive narratives
  • Ensure exceptional standards of accuracy, consistency, and presentation quality across all client‑facing materials
  • Advise stakeholders on structure, messaging, and clarity of reporting outputs
  • Apply and enforce programme templates, branding, and governance requirements
Project & Programme Reporting
  • Deliver recurring and ad‑hoc programme reporting to agreed deadlines
  • Coordinate inputs across multiple workstreams while retaining editorial control and accountability for the final output
  • Respond confidently to last‑minute changes and evolving senior stakeholder requirements
  • Synthesize inputs across cost, schedule, risk, and benefits to produce holistic programme reporting
Client Interface
  • Operate embedded within the client organisation, interacting directly with senior stakeholders
  • Build trusted working relationships based on reliability, judgement, and quality of output
  • Represent the consultancy professionally in a high‑profile, politically sensitive environment
  • Balance competing stakeholder demands while ensuring reporting remains aligned to programme objectives
Qualifications
Essential
  • Proven experience as a consultant or senior PMO / reporting professional in a client‑facing role
  • Strong track record delivering executive‑level project or programme reporting
  • Advanced PowerPoint capability, including structuring, storytelling, formatting, and visual hierarchy
  • Experience working on large, complex programmes (infrastructure, construction, transport, energy, or similar)
  • Outstanding attention to detail and pride in quality
  • Comfortable working independently in demanding environments with shifting priorities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization to support narrative reporting
Highly Desirable
  • Experience on mega or giga projects
  • Consultancy background within a global professional services firm
  • Prior experience embedded within a client organisation
  • Middle East project experience
  • Track record of operating in high‑governance, politically sensitive environments
