Job description

Assist with the implementation, ramp-up, and integration of finance systems (e.g., SAP) across business units.

Responsibilities:

1. Support IT, finance, and business teams to ensure smooth system adoption and functionality.
2. Contribute to the development and execution of the finance technology roadmap and support activities related to business ramp-up.
3. Assist in technology ramp-up activities within Finance, including system go-live support, training, and testing.
4. Undertake discrete finance technology projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
5. Monitor project progress, manage risks, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
6. Support the standardization and integration of financial data across systems.
7. Assist in implementing reporting tools and dashboards for real-time financial insights.
8. Work closely with finance, IT, and business teams to ensure technology solutions meet business needs.
9. Support change management efforts, including communication and training, to promote user adoption.
10. Assist in implementing system controls and preparing for audits.
11. Identify and recommend system enhancements and process improvements.
12. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging finance technologies.
13. Contribute to team development and training initiatives.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a finance certification such as CPA, ACCA, or ACA, or demonstrable experience within a large finance function. Additionally, candidates should possess certification or training at a degree level in computer sciences, with SAP certification being desirable. Experience supporting technology projects and finance system rollouts, especially ERP and related applications, is required.
