Senior Accountant

The ideal candidate will have solid experience across key accounting functions including Financial Preparation, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Fixed Assets, AP Analysis, Revenue Recognition, Intercompany Transactions, VAT & Withholding Tax, and Audit Support. The role will also include reviewing and validating vendor payments to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register, including depreciation tracking
  • Conduct AP analysis and resolve variances or discrepancies
  • Review and validate vendor payment requests to ensure proper documentation, approvals, and compliance with internal controls
  • Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with applicable accounting standards
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with local tax laws
  • Prepare and submit the Withholding Tax as per regulatory requirements
  • Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions, including settlements and intercompany balances
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
  • Preparation of Monthly, Quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by preparing required schedules and documentation
  • Maintain compliance with company accounting policies and relevant regulatory frameworks
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 4–5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Proficient in English language.
  • SOCPA registered
  • Proven experience with vendor payment processes and internal controls
  • Strong knowledge of local taxation, including VAT and Withholding Tax
  • Hands-on experience with intercompany accounting
  • Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
