Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices within the construction or facilities management industry, with proven expertise in Saudi accounting standards, auditing, and local compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• 🔺 Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
• 🔺Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with Saudi accounting standards.
• 🔺Coordinate and complete annual audits, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and internal requirements.
• 🔺Prepare and submit financial reports and analysis to support management decision-making.
• 🔺Monitor and reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and other financial records.
• 🔺Oversee renewal and maintenance of Local Content Certification, ensuring timely compliance with local regulations.
• 🔺Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning.
• 🔺Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• 🔺Liaise with external auditors, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications

• 🔺Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or SOCPA certification is an advantage).
• 🔺Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant, preferably in the construction or facilities management industry.
• 🔺Strong knowledge of Saudi accounting standards and local compliance requirements.
• 🔺Proven experience in audit completion and renewal of local content certification.
• 🔺Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
