General Role

As a Security Team Leader at Miraval The Red Sea, your role is in ensuring a safe, secure, and peaceful environment for our guests and colleagues. You lead by example, upholding the Miraval values of integrity, respect, and wellbeing, and ensuring that all safety protocols are performed with mindfulness and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

As Security Team Leader, you will need to:

  • Leadership & Supervision
    • Supervise daily operations of the security team to maintain a safe and secure resort environment.
    • Ensure all officers are well-presented, trained, and follow established procedures.
    • Conduct regular patrols and inspections of key areas, including guest zones, colleague housing, and perimeter.
    • Manage shift schedules, reports, and incident documentation.
  • Safety & Emergency Response
    • Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, alarms, or incidents.
    • Conduct regular fire safety, evacuation, and first-aid training with relevant departments.
    • Ensure compliance with Red Sea Global safety and security standards.
    • Liaise with local authorities in case of incidents or regulatory requirements.
  • Operational & Administrative Duties
    • Maintain up-to-date records of security logs, key controls, and access cards.
    • Report maintenance or safety concerns to Engineering for corrective action.
    • Monitor CCTV and access points to ensure operational functionality.
    • Support incident investigations with factual reports and follow-up actions.

Qualifications
  • Saudi National (as per Saudization requirements).
  • Diploma or equivalent in Security, Law Enforcement, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a hotel or resort security position, including supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of emergency procedures, safety systems, and KSA security regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to remain composed under pressure.
  • Valid KSA driving license and security training certification preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS (IF ANY)
  • Walking, standing, and outdoor patrol duties for extended periods.
  • Occasional lifting of light-to-medium loads.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Wellness destination resort located on Shura Island, Red Sea.
  • Indoor and outdoor environment; shift-based schedule including nights and weekends.
