Your day at NTT DATA

As a Security Solution Architect at NTT DATA, you will be an expert in cybersecurity solutions, working across diverse industry sectors to evaluate, define, and recommend tailored services and outcomes aligned with key cybersecurity domains. You’ll engage directly with clients to understand their security requirements—both functional and non-functional—and translate them into robust, scalable solutions.

Your day will involve supporting complex bid responses, defining solution specifications for network and infrastructure security, and managing demos and proof-of-concepts. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and partners to develop bottom-up pricing models and contribute to solution and service strategies. Maintaining strong vendor relationships will be essential to stay informed on product positioning and technology trends.

You’ll be the single point of contact for cybersecurity-related queries from the sales team, driving architecture conversations around cybersecurity operations and incident response. Your broad understanding of security technologies and frameworks will enable you to deliver impactful presentations and guide clients through their security transformation journey.

To thrive in this role, you need to have :

An advanced understanding of security principles, technologies, and frameworks including NIST CSF, ISO 27001, Zero Trust, and Secure by Design.

Strong technical knowledge across multiple security domains such as Firewalls, WAF, SASE, SIEM, MDR, XDR, Threat Intelligence, and SOAR.

Proven experience in security architecture design, cloud security projects, and preparing technical blueprints and RFP responses.

Ability to provide technical consultation and guidance to customers, with a client-centric approach.

Comfortable presenting to small and medium-sized audiences, including technical and business stakeholders.

Applied knowledge of the cyber kill-chain, threat landscape, and current security trends.

A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Relevant and recognized professional security certifications supporting your SME domain.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within medium-sized teams and across client engagements
