Job Objective
Manage the implementation of construction projects in the sector efficiently and effectively, including supervision and monitoring of project progress, identifying challenges, and providing recommendations to ensure execution within the approved schedule and budget. Coordinate with related departments to ensure quality control and project safety compliance.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Supervise and follow up on the work of the supervision and technical teams to ensure adherence to timelines, standards, and quality.
- Oversee site handovers, equipment mobilization, and project commencement with consultants and service providers according to procedures.
- Ensure compliance of all works with contracts, technical specifications, and approved standards.
- Monitor project progress, identify challenges, and provide solutions to ensure completion within schedule, cost, and resources.
- Apply and monitor testing plans, analyze project status, and coordinate with providers for corrective actions.
- Supervise handover committees, completion certificates, and project closure processes in coordination with stakeholders.
- Prepare periodic progress reports for senior management.
- Identify workforce needs, evaluate team performance, and support training and development.
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
Academic Qualifications and Professional Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Technology, or an equivalent field.
- Professional certifications in engineering from a globally recognized institution are preferred (e.g., PMP, PgMP).
Years of Experience
- 7–10 years of experience in similar fields within local, regional, or international organizations.
- Experience in the public sector within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is preferred.
