Introduction
1. SAP Delivery Management & Leadership
- Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple, concurrent SAP implementation, upgrade, and support projects.
- Lead and mentor project managers, functional consultants, technical leads, and development teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, meeting client and business objectives.
- Develop and implement robust project governance structures, risk management strategies, and quality assurance processes.
- Manage project financials, resource allocation, and reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Activate, Waterfall).
2. SAP Program Architecture & Strategy
- Define and maintain the overarching SAP enterprise architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals and business requirements.
- Provide expert architectural guidance and oversight for major SAP initiatives, including S/4HANA transformations, cloud migrations, and integration strategies.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performing SAP solutions that leverage best practices and optimize system performance.
- Evaluate new SAP technologies, products, and services, making recommendations for their adoption and integration into the existing landscape.
- Ensure architectural consistency, reusability, and adherence to industry standards and regulatory compliance.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders on SAP capabilities and strategic direction.
3. Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders, client executives, and third-party vendors.
- Act as a primary point of contact for strategic client discussions, understanding their evolving needs and translating them into SAP solutions.
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and project statuses to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Manage expectations, resolve escalations, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, and develop a highly skilled team of SAP professionals.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify professional development opportunities.
- Promote knowledge sharing, collaboration, and a culture of continuous learning within the SAP team.
Your role and responsibilities
SAP Delivery Manager and Program Architect is a senior leadership role responsible for the successful end-to-end delivery of complex SAP programs and projects, while also defining and overseeing the strategic architectural direction of SAP solutions across the enterprise. This role requires a seasoned SAP professional with a deep understanding of SAP functionalities, project delivery methodologies, and enterprise architecture principles. The incumbent will lead cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, ensure adherence to best practices, and drive innovation within our SAP landscape.

- Experience
- [12-15]+ years of progressive experience in SAP consulting, implementation, and program management, with a strong focus on large-scale enterprise projects.
- [5-7]+ years in a leadership role overseeing SAP delivery and/or architectural functions.
- Proven experience leading multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations (e.g., ECC, S/4HANA).
- Demonstrated experience in defining and implementing SAP enterprise architecture strategies.
- Technical Skills
- Deep functional and/or technical expertise across multiple SAP modules.
- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA capabilities, roadmap, and migration strategies.
- Proficiency in SAP integration technologies (e.g., SAP CPI, PI/PO, RFCs, APIs).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with SAP.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 and user experience design principles.
