The Job Summary
The Sales Showroom Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and facilitating the smooth operation of the assigned showroom ensuring that the showroom environment is welcoming and conducive to sales activities, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of display vehicles, literature, and promotional materials; assisting sales personnel in managing customer inquiries, scheduling test drives, and coordinating vehicle deliveries; delivering exceptional customer service and enhancing the overall showroom experience to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
1 Showroom Display & Merchandising
- Execute showroom layouts that effectively showcase vehicles and encourage customer engagement.
- Utilize visual merchandising principles to highlight features of new models and promotions, optimizing the display to attract and retain customer interest.
- Administer the rotation of vehicles on the showroom floor to ensure that the latest models and features are prominently displayed.
- Adjust showroom themes and layouts according to seasons or promotional events to keep the display dynamic and engaging.
- Incorporate digital displays and interactive touchpoints that provide multimedia information about vehicles and offers.
- Enhance vehicle displays through strategic lighting that highlights vehicle features and creates an inviting atmosphere.
- Design focal points around key models or features to draw customer attention and promote new or special edition vehicles.
- Ensure that the showroom presentation aligns with Nissan’s brand image and marketing campaigns.
- Employ clear and informative signage throughout the showroom to guide customers and provide essential information about the vehicles.
- Arrange vehicles and displays to facilitate a logical flow that enhances customer experience and maximizes exposure to key products.
- Utilize customer feedback to make adjustments to showroom layouts to improve the overall customer experience.
- Frequently update displays to maintain customer interest and reflect the latest inventory and technological advancements.
- Make sure that the showroom is accessible to all customers, including those with disabilities, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
2 Inventory Management
- Keep track of vehicles on the showroom floor and manage the inventory to ensure availability of displayed models.
- Operate inventory management software to update and retrieve data regarding vehicle status, location, and readiness for display.
- Work closely with sales teams and storage facilities to ensure that vehicle inventory is aligned with sales strategies and customer demand.
- Ensure that the showroom inventory matches online listings to provide consistency for customers researching online before visiting.
- Set up automated systems to receive alerts when inventory levels for certain models are low or when specific models are in high demand.
3 Technical Product Expertise
- Stay informed about all Nissan models, specifications, and available upgrades to provide accurate information to both staff and customers.
- Perform technical demonstrations of vehicle features, including new technology and safety components, ensuring that these demonstrations comply with Nissan’s standards.
- Provide training for other showroom staff on the technical aspects of displayed vehicles to ensure consistent and accurate customer communication.
- Keep all training materials up to date with the latest vehicle technology, features, and market trends to ensure staff can provide current and comprehensive information to customers.
4 Compliance & Safety Standards
- Adhere to all legal and corporate standards regarding showroom operations, including safety, accessibility, and promotional compliance.
- Develop and enforce safety protocols for the showroom floor, ensuring the safety of both customers and staff during vehicle demonstrations and interactions.
- Regularly audit showroom practices and setups to ensure ongoing compliance with Nissan corporate policies and local regulations.
The Job Profile
1 Educational Qualifications
Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent
2 Professional Certifications
Certified Retail Sales Associate (CRSA), Automotive Sales Certification
3 Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in retail sales, showroom management, or a related field Experience in visual merchandising or showroom display management
4 Languages Proficiency
Fluency in English & Arabic languages
