Overview
Operational Ownership. In this role, I will manage the efficient operation of my department to provide exceptional products and services within Six Senses brand operating standards and budget. I will work strategically with the Director of Sales & Marketing to develop cohesive and productive goals for my department and establish procedures/guidelines to achieve them. I will maintain an overall consistency of the Company’s vision, quality/standards and develop concepts consistent with brand identity. My scope of work includes:
Responsibilities
- Exceeds personal sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Solicits groups, transient, and/or banquet businesses through action plan preparation and execution.
- Independent responsible for the achievement of objectives, as outlined in the action plans.
- Determines and recommends prospective customers from market information and resources.
- Within established parameters, quotes and negotiates prices, confirmed by written contracts.
- Actively supports the goals of the team facilities, ends revenue-producing activities and ways to implement them.
- Task/Participates in sales calls, business trips, trade shows, conventions, and promotional events within the hotel and trade-related organizations.
- Maintains positive relationships with all guests, vendors, colleagues.
- Maintains account, contact, activity, and business details within Opera S&C according to Six Senses standards.
- Upon closing, coordinates and follows up with other hotel departments to ensure delivery of the hotel’s promised services.
- Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports, as required.
- Responds to incoming business opportunities for the hotel within 24 hours.
- As directed, assists with the compilation of competitive intelligence information.
- Attends all sales meetings, as required.
- Where applicable, responsible for ongoing mentoring and coaching of support colleagues.
- Actively participates in prescribed sales training.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and practices and update knowledge and skills to improve the product and service offering.
- Processes will be constantly assessed and reviewed to remain relevant, innovative and in keeping with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.

- Lead a team of engaged and experienced hosts to provide the Six Senses exceptional standards of operation and service.
