Title: Sales Manager, Saudi Arabia

Reports to: Sales Leader: MEA

Position: Permanent, Remote with travel requirements

Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive market penetration and achieve revenue goals.
    • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
    • Prepare quotations and proposals by the exclusive use of the Armstrong Bid Tools ADEPT sales portal, CRM, etc.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Attend sales meetings, conferences, etc as directed by the Sales Director
  • Market Analysis and CRM Reporting:
    • Conduct regular market research to stay informed about market conditions, customer preferences, and competitor actions.
    • Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, gap analysis, competitor analysis, sales pipeline and performance analysis to senior management.
    • Use CRM tool to track opportunities, build winning strategies for all contacts within every account and achieve order input targets in line with budgeted requirements.
  • Sales Operations:
    • Oversee the sales process, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
    • Manage sales budgets, expenses, and resource allocation.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, product development, customer service) to align strategies and optimize results.
    • Communicate regularly with senior management to provide updates on sales performance, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Mechanical/Automation Engineering with sales, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • Substantial experience in sales management, preferably in the HVAC industry.
    • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
    • Experience in Pump, Pressurisation Units and Booster Direct Sales to Consulting Engineers and M&E contractors is an advantage.
    • Experience of Sales Network of Consulting Engineers and M&E Contractors in HVAC field.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
    • Value and solution selling skills - mandatory
    • Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred.
  • Knowledge:
    • Deep understanding of the Saudi Arabian market and business landscape.
    • Knowledge of HVAC industry is highly desirable.
