Job summary

A leading hotel group in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Sales Manager Corporate to manage local corporate accounts. You will acquire and develop business opportunities while ensuring exceptional client relations. The ideal candidate has at least four years of experience in hotel sales and strong knowledge of local business trends. Proficiency in English is required; Arabic language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

As Sales Manager Corporate, you will be responsible for:

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Acquire, develop, and manage local corporate accounts according to the set business-mix strategy.
  • Ensure maximum acceptance of RFPs. Acquire, develop, and manage business travel agent (TMC’s) accounts according to the set business mix strategy.
  • Constantly monitor the market and the competition and report on threats and opportunities.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on segment and account production and propose tactics and strategies to improve revenue or avoid shortfall.
  • Implement and execute all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed the targets set.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, Guests, and Team Members to gain a full understanding of their needs and work to serve them effectively.
  • Ensure all requests are handled in the timeframe set by the company
Qualifications And Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in marketing or related field
  • Four or more years of experience in a hospitality or hotel sales setting
  • Must have previous local experience
  • Strong knowledge of local businesses and business trends required
  • Excellent in using computers and well-versed in all computer applications
  • Clear communication; effective verbal and written communication skills in English. Arabic speaking will be a definite advantage
Other Requirements
  • Comply with hotel rules and regulations and provisions contained in the employment handbook
  • Comply with company’s grooming standards to portray a professional image of self and the hotel
  • Comply with time and attendance policies set by the resort
  • Actively participate in training and development programs and maximize opportunities for self-development
  • Demonstrate understanding and awareness of all policies and procedures relating to health, hygiene and fire life safety.
