Job Summary / Objective

The Sales Lead is responsible for leading & executing the sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market growth. This role involves managing a team of sales specialists across regions. The Sales Lead plays a critical role in aligning the sales team with business objectives, identifying new business opportunities on Microsoft solutions including cloud, and optimizing sales processes to deliver exceptional customer value and business performance.

Key Responsibilities / Duties
  1. Sales Strategy Ownership
  • Align closely with Business Development Department to identify opportunities and build joint strategies for selling Microsoft technologies and solutions.
  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for IT solutions across cloud, infrastructure, and Microsoft technologies.
  • Align go-to-market plans with business goals and ensure consistent pipeline generation and revenue growth.
  • Client Engagement Leadership
    • Act as the primary face to key enterprise clients.
    • Build strong, trust-based relationships by deeply understanding business objectives and aligning them with the right technology and services.
    • Coordinate with Pre-Sales and Technical Delivery teams to ensure seamless execution from opportunity to closure.
    • Identify new business opportunities by engaging stakeholders (Presales team, BDM).
    • Monitor market dynamics, competitor moves, and industry shifts.
    • Foster collaboration among team members, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing.
    • Communicate opportunities, deal status, and challenges to stakeholders and sales management.
    • Lead, coach, and manage the sales team across Saudi Arabia.
    • Own pipeline forecasting, deal status reporting, and revenue projections.
    • Provide insights for quarterly and strategic planning.
  • Account Planning & Expansion
    • Lead strategic account planning to identify growth, up-sell, cross-sell, and long-term client development strategies.
    • Manage key account success metrics and renewal forecasts.
  • Sales Process Optimization
    • Standardize sales workflows, qualification criteria, and opportunity governance.
    • Promote best practices in CRM usage, documentation, and sales enablement.
  • Team Leadership & Coaching
    • Mentor team members to achieve targets.
    • Foster a high-performance culture through collaboration, ownership, and continuous learning.
    • Handle high-impact client escalations, coordinating internal resources to resolve issues swiftly.
    Requirements

    Certification Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent.
    • ITIL Foundation (preferred)
    • Inbound Sales certification (must)
    Skills & Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration; MBA or relevant certifications are a plus.
    • Strong communication skills in conveying complex ideas.
    • Experience leading high-value solution sales cycles from discovery to closure.
    • Proven ability to meet/exceed revenue targets and expand accounts.
    • At least 3 years in leadership roles.
    • Deep knowledge of Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, M365, Licensing, Security).
    • Experience in industries like finance, healthcare, or government is beneficial.
    Professional Experience
    • 8+ years in IT sales, with 3+ years in managerial roles.
    • Experience selling B2B IT solutions to mid-sized and enterprise clients.
    • Familiarity with cloud solutions (Azure), workplace and security tools (M365, Defender), collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom), and enterprise support services.
    Knowledge & Certifications
    • Microsoft Azure Solutions Fundamentals / Associate certification.
    • Certified Inside Sales Professional (CISP) or similar.
    • Understanding of cloud infrastructure and digital transformation projects.
    • Knowledge of ITIL and ISO frameworks is advantageous.
    • Strong negotiation, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
    • Fluent in Arabic and English communication.
    • Experience with CRM systems like Zoho CRM, Microsoft Dynamics 365.
