POSITION OVERVIEW

The Sales Director for Saudi Arabia will focus on leading strategic sales initiatives and driving revenue growth within the public sector across Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of closing high-value government deals, in-depth knowledge of procurement processes, and excellent stakeholder management skills.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute the public sector sales strategy aligned with company goals and Saudi Vision 2030.
  • Identify, qualify, and secure business opportunities with ministries, semi-government entities, and other public institutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and key influencers within government bodies.
  • Lead end-to-end bid and tender processes, including RFP / RFQ responses, proposal development, and pricing negotiations.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi government procurement regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with internal functions including legal, finance, marketing, and technical pre-sales to ensure alignment and delivery.
  • Regularly report sales performance, forecasts, and market intelligence to leadership.
  • Represent the company in government exhibitions, industry events, and conferences.

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 8–10 years of experience in government sales, preferably within IT, Cybersecurity, or Enterprise Solutions.
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets and winning complex government contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi government procurement and tendering procedures (Etimad platform, etc.).
  • Established network within public sector stakeholders in Riyadh and across KSA.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
