Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team in Abha. This role is pivotal in supporting the Sales Manager and driving revenue growth through effective strategy execution, strong customer engagement, and team performance management. The ideal candidate is proactive, customer-focused, and skilled at fostering a collaborative work environment that empowers the sales team to achieve excellence.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement territory action plans using comprehensive data analysis, adjusting sales techniques based on field insights and performance results.
  2. Engage regularly with customers to understand their needs and connect them with appropriate Flour product solutions.
  3. Serve as the primary point of contact for customer issues, ensuring seamless communication across Sales, Product Supply, Regulatory, and Marketing teams.
  4. Contribute to customer segmentation, value curve development, and account planning to maximize business opportunities.
  5. Support volume forecasting and provide insights to guide strategic decision-making.
  6. Assist the national sales head in driving growth initiatives for the Flour business.
  7. Identify and develop new customer and distributor relationships to expand market share annually.
  8. Leverage customer segmentation and the annual Growth Road Map to prioritize and grow business with key accounts.
  9. Continuously monitor customer needs and apply sales tools such as the Sales Guide and Cross-Selling Matrix to expand market penetration.
  10. Actively participate within the sales team to strengthen the Flour category’s influence in the region, effectively utilizing internal and supplier resources to enhance market presence.
  11. Prepare accurate sales reports and track new business development activities.
  12. Lead and manage a team of sales specialists, providing tactical direction to ensure achievement of sales growth objectives.
  13. Register additional quotas for regulated flour in line with GFSA policies to meet sales targets.
  14. Expand existing quotas to align with customer growth requirements and GFSA regulations.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Proven experience in a sales role, preferably in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
  2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve sales targets.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and team members.
  4. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions.
  5. Customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  6. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  7. Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  8. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  9. Fluency in both English and Arabic is a plus, enhancing communication with a diverse customer base.
