Job summary

A safety consultancy firm in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Safety Officer to conduct site inspections, perform risk assessments, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate has 5-10 years of experience in the industrial sector and a Bachelor's degree in Safety or Engineering. Strong skills in auditing and incident investigation are required. Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred, and Marafiq Safety ID is a plus.

Qualifications

• Perform risk assessments, JSAs, and ensure safe work practices & PPE usage.
• Investigate incidents/near misses and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and promote safety awareness.
• Monitor daily operations, emergency equipment, and signage compliance.
• Prepare safety reports, maintain documentation, and liaise with contractors/project teams.
• Ensure adherence to OHSMS, local regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Marafiq Safety ID/Approval preferred.
• Bachelors degree/diploma in Safety, Environmental, or Engineering.
