Job Overview:

We are looking for a qualified and proactive Safety Engineer to join our team. The Safety Engineer will be responsible for identifying risks, developing safety controls, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The role involves supporting project teams by integrating safety into designs and processes, conducting audits, and leading incident investigations. The ideal candidate will have relevant certifications and a solid understanding of engineering safety standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify workplace hazards and implement engineering solutions to minimize risk.
  • Design safety systems and risk mitigation plans across projects.
  • Conduct safety audits and ensure compliance with standards (OSHA, ISO, etc.).
  • Prepare and review safety documentation, including risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate safety into designs.
  • Investigate incidents and contribute to root cause analysis.
  • Review technical documents and drawings from a safety perspective.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • NEBOSH IGC, KAWADER, and OSHA certifications required.
  • Membership in the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a safety engineering or HSE role.
  • Knowledge of local and international safety standards.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
