Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a RSNF Naval Operations Instructor / Trainer to provide RSNF Naval Operations, Maintenance, Damage Control, and General training. This position will be located in Jeddah, KSA and will be an onsite position.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver Instructor Led Training (ILT) for RSNF Naval Operations, Maintenance, Damage Control, and General training.
  • Provide instructional services necessary to conduct military training in naval operations conducted on, under, or over the sea, Maintenance, Damage Control, and General classroom / OJT for the RSNF using instructional materials, facilities, and simulators provided by the RSNF.
  • Assist the RSNF Naval Schools in the development, execution, and evaluation of multi‑threat maritime scenarios to be utilized in the simulators at the Fleet Training Centers.
  • Analyze RSNF training schedules, delivery methods, and standards; deliver reports, studies, briefings, and recommendations.
  • Prepare and deliver reports, studies, briefings, and point papers containing findings / results to include recommendations for modification and / or development of RSNF Surface Operations and Maintenance, Damage Control, and General Training schedules, delivery methods, and standards.
  • Provide SME support services to facilitate Naval Operations training and education.
  • Support and provide input to the RSNF ESS courseware development team to ensure training materials are current and updated.
  • Implement RSNF student critiques into RSNF ESS training materials, as required.
  • Prepare RSNF ESS Lesson Plans (LP) and ensure all Terminal and Enabling Objectives are effectively trained.
  • Utilize RSNF ESS PowerPoint Presentations, Job Sheets, and visual aids to support the learning retention of RSNF students.
  • Administer and grade RSNF ESS tests and exams.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the SR instructor.
Qualifications
  • BS 5‑8 years experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field AND three (3) years’ experience instructing students in military programs – OR – five (5) years’ experience instructing students in military programs and certified as a military training specialist.
  • Must have professional knowledge of Navy Training Management theories, policies, principles, procedures, and techniques.
  • Shall be a U.S. citizen or a Saudi national.
  • Preferred Skills and Experience:
    • Possess a minimum of 6 years of experience in naval operations on board a ship.
    • Former U.S. or RSNF Naval Officer.
    • Qualified as a Tactical Action Officer (TAO) or Operations Officer at sea.

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at‑will position” and GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department / team performance, and market factors.
