The Robotics Process Automation (RPA) Consultant plays a pivotal role in helping organizations streamline their operations through automation technologies. This position involves working closely with clients to identify processes that can be automated, designing RPA solutions, and implementing them effectively. The consultant will leverage their expertise in RPA tools to enhance efficiency, reduce operational costs, and improve service delivery. Responsibilities

RPA Development & Deployment

• Design, develop, and implement automation workflows using UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and Robots.
• Collaborate with business units to analyze processes, identify automation opportunities, and define business cases.
• Ensure RPA solutions are scalable, reusable, and aligned with IT governance.
• Configure, test, and deploy automation workflows into production.

Process Analysis & Optimization

• Conduct process assessments and feasibility studies for automation.
• Re-engineer business processes to maximize automation efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization.

Support & Maintenance

• Monitor automated workflows in UiPath Orchestrator and ensure business continuity.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize bots to maintain performance and accuracy.
• Provide Level 2/3 support for automation incidents and escalate where needed.

Collaboration & Business Engagement

• Work closely with Finance, HR, Operations, and Government Relations teams to capture requirements.
• Translating business needs into technical RPA solutions.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to business users and IT staff on automation.

Governance, Security & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with organizational IT security, risk, and audit policies.
• Document processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
• Establish monitoring and reporting mechanisms for bot performance.

Skills

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer or equivalent certification.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in RPA development and implementation using UiPath.
• Strong knowledge of UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, Robots, and Queues.
• Proficiency in VB.NET, C#, Python, or SQL for scripting and automation.
• Experience integrating RPA with ERP (AX/D365), CRM, HR, and other enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with process analysis, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
• Experience in handling large-scale automation projects in enterprise environments.
