Position Title: Revenue Manager

Department: Revenue Management

Position Summary
  • The Revenue Manager is responsible for maximizing total hotel revenue and profitability across all revenue streams by developing and implementing effective pricing, distribution, and inventory strategies. This role collaborates closely with Reservations, Sales, Marketing, and Director of Revenue to ensure the hotel achieves optimal performance, particularly during high-demand periods such as Hajj, Ramadan, and Umrah.
  • The Revenue Manager serves as a key business partner, providing insights into market trends, forecasting accuracy, and long‑term revenue strategies aligned with Accor’s standards and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Strategy & Optimization
  • Develop, implement, and monitor hotel revenue management strategies to achieve or exceed revenue targets.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and booking patterns to optimize pricing and inventory management.
  • Lead weekly Revenue Management Meetings with key stakeholders to review performance and update strategies.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports and forecasts to support business decisions.
  • Drive RevPAR and total revenue growth across all business segments and distribution channels.
Forecasting & Analysis
  • Prepare accurate demand and revenue forecasts based on historical data, market conditions, and future events.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor pricing integrity across all online and offline channels.
Distribution & Systems
  • Ensure optimal configuration, maintenance, and utilization of revenue management systems (IDeaS, Opera PMS, Accor tools).
  • Maintain data quality and system hygiene for all Revenue Management and Distribution platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Reservations team to ensure proper rate loading, inventory accuracy, and system alignment.
Collaboration & Leadership
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to align strategies with hotel business goals.
  • Participate in budgeting and business planning processes by providing accurate forecasts and insights.
  • Coach and support the Reservations and Front Office teams in revenue optimization practices.
  • Act as the hotel’s representative in Accor’s Revenue Management community of practice.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in revenue management roles within a luxury or upper‑upscale hotel environment (Accor experience preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with IDeaS Revenue Management System and Opera PMS highly desirable.
  • In‑depth knowledge of online distribution channels, OTA management, and dynamic pricing models.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to perform under pressure — especially during peak seasons.
