Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Retail Fit-out Engineer to oversee and manage retail interior projects from design review through execution and handover. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating design, construction, and finishing works to ensure high-quality delivery aligned with brand standards, timelines, and budget requirements. This role requires a strong background in retail or commercial fit-out projects, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage fit-out works for retail and commercial spaces from start to completion.
  • Review design drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals for compliance with project specifications and brand requirements.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor progress on-site, ensuring quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project schedules.
  • Conduct site inspections, resolve technical issues, and report regularly on work status and project risks.
  • Manage procurement schedules for finishes, fixtures, and materials to ensure timely delivery.
  • Support cost control and value engineering efforts without compromising design integrity.
  • Ensure proper handover documentation, as-built drawings, and close-out reports are completed.
  • Liaise with the client’s design and operations teams to align construction with brand identity and standards.
Qualifications
