Job summary

A leading hospitality group in Saudi Arabia invites candidates for a guest service role focused on offering exceptional service and support for hotel facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and fluency in Arabic and English. Experience with Opera or similar systems is preferred. This role is crucial in ensuring guest satisfaction and maximizing revenue through service excellence.

  • Consistently offer exceptional, friendly and engaging service.
  • Ensure the best selection for the guest and ensure revenue is maximized through up-selling.
  • Update reservations ensuring a flawless check in and check out process.
  • Answer telephone and email inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way.
  • Take ownership of the guest’s request and ensure follow up according to the hotel’s standards.
  • Follow department policies, procedures and service standards.
  • Recommend property facilities and assist guests with information and special requests.
  • Book room reservation requests, enter rooming lists, and update accurate information in the system.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required.
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
  • Guest focused personality is essential; experience is an asset.
  • Preferably prior experience working with Opera or a related system.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluency in both Arabic & English.
