Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Reporting Specialist with 2 years of experience to support reporting and data management activities on a large-scale airport infrastructure project.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, formatting, and presenting project performance data to internal and external stakeholders. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that project progress is accurately tracked, communicated, and aligned with the program’s performance and reporting standards.

In this role you will get to play an essential role in supporting the project’s reporting framework, ensuring accurate and timely communication of performance data. This position is ideal for candidates early in their career who have strong analytical and reporting skills and are looking to grow within a high-performance infrastructure project team.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Gather progress data, KPIs, and metrics from various disciplines, packages, and departments.
  • Consolidate data into centralized templates, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project reports including progress summaries, issues logs, risk registers, and performance charts.
  • Format reports in alignment with client and project requirements.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of interactive dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Excel) for visual representation of key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure real-time and accurate reflection of current project status.
  • Support reporting needs for internal leadership, client representatives, and third-party stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing presentation materials and visual data summaries for coordination meetings and project reviews.
  • Ensure all reports meet organizational standards for clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Support the implementation of reporting procedures in accordance with the Project Controls and PMO guidelines.
  • Collaborate with document control teams to retrieve and archive relevant reports and supporting documents.
  • Ensure traceability and version control across all submitted reports.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance reporting efficiency and data visualization.
  • Participate in the development of templates and automation tools to streamline reporting workflows.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in reporting, project controls, or data analysis within the construction or infrastructure sector, preferably on large-scale or airport projects.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; basic knowledge of Power BI or other reporting software is a plus.
  • Understanding of project lifecycle reporting metrics (e.g., schedule performance, cost tracking, progress %).
  • Ability to interpret technical data and present it in a clear and professional format.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working on airport or infrastructure mega-projects.
  • Familiarity with reporting standards in PMO environments.
  • Working knowledge of project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Aconex).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, cross-functional project teams.
  • Basic knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
