The Regional Sales Manager for Heavy Equipment and Contracting is a critical role within our organization, focused on driving sales growth and enhancing our market presence in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This position requires a strategic leader with extensive experience in the heavy equipment industry and a proven track record in sales management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies tailored to the unique needs of the contracting sector, ensuring that we meet and exceed our sales objectives. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as the Regional Sales Manager will engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members to build lasting relationships that foster customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Agree and achieve Regional parts field sales force sales targets.
- Agree and achieve Regional parts receivables budget.
- Individually lead, manage and motivate each member of the parts team, including;
- Establish and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Market intelligence, quotation activity and follow-up, conversion ratios
- Maintain up-to-date customer lists and discover and qualify new customers
- Establish and achieve non-financial objectives – call reports, lost sales reports, lead and develop individual sales staff
- Ensure each team member understands and always properly uses all company systems and software
- Develop and maintain personal relationships with key customers.
- Report regularly on competitive environment in the Region.
- Propose and carry-out market focused promotional activities in conjunction with PD.
- Manage and control operating costs within specific region
- Proactively make suggestions to improve departmental and corporate performance
