What to expect day to day

Camlin Energy is currently seeking to recruit a Regional Business Manager to cover Middle East (excluding KSA). The role will be “remote” reporting to Camlin’s Regional Managing Director, though intention is to establish permanent office in Region. The successful applicant will have a proven track record of selling high value solutions across all organisational levels with experience at C suite engagement, in the Energy & Utilities market both direct and working with partners. This challenging, rapidly changing and exciting business needs the best people to bring market leading solutions into the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overall responsibility for the region’s sales, strategic alliances (including Distribution Partners), account development and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute strategy and growth plan for Middle East region (excluding KSA).
  • Sell and promote Camlin solutions across market leading sensors and digital platform, to all stakeholder from technical champions up to C suite approvers
  • Work with Global Service Director to develop and implement plan to enhance technical support for Partners & End Customers in region.
  • Provides specific industry and/or product expertise to facilitate commercial excellence within the defined territory
  • Identify and manage Key Accounts and coordinate appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities
  • Represent Camlin at trade shows, fairs & conferences promoting Camlin products and services.
  • Build a network of relationships and partnerships to enable commercial growth, market leadership and increase of value for Camlin Energy
  • Prepare accurate sales forecast information on regular basis utilising a combination of active customer information and market intelligence.
  • Establish productive and professional working relationships with Camlin customers and partners in order to deliver value for both our customers and Camlin.
  • Improve customer satisfaction by understanding customer requirements, communicating and delivering solutions to exceed their expectations.
  • Cooperate closely with Camlin internal teams to ensure the appropriate delivery of commitments to customer and maximize the customer’s overall satisfaction.
  • To operate to the highest business standards, manage risk and protect the Camlin Group brand.
  • Proven experience in managing a sales territory within the energy/ power/ sectors
  • Strong domain expertise in Energy & Utilities, with experience of selling both sensor technologies and software desired. Experience in low voltage/ distribution networks desired but not necessary.
  • Proven sales experience across large scale projects and multi-year contracts, along with firm track record in a technical environment. Experience in a leadership role preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
  • Customer focused person equally comfortable working in both individual capacities
  • Ability to travel throughout Middle East region.
  • English language essential, other languages preferred.
Desired Criteria
  • Depending on experience educated to Degree Level or equivalent in Electrical/ Mechanical / Technical or equivalent engineering discipline.
  • Broad commercial experience and highly professional sales and business development skills.
  • Competent in managing the specification process from inception through to delivery.
  • Analysis of customer requirement and matching overall solutions possibilities to our skills and products.
  • Experience of managing customer expectations and relationships within company deliverables.
