Overview

Radiation Safety Officer (Saudi Nationals Only)

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all personnel working with or around radiation receive proper training and understand the risks and safety procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with national and local radiation safety regulations.
• Overseeing radiation monitoring, maintaining exposure records, and ensuring safety protocols are followed during radiation use, transport, or disposal.
• Reviewing and checking all daily reports received from Rig sites where RA sources are used, ensuring they are completed and comply with Baker Hughes standards.
• Being responsible for all tasks related to Radio Active Source in Drilling Services.

Qualifications

• Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Services).
• Be a certified radiation safety officer.
• Be a positive team player and show the ability to adapt in an ever-changing, dynamic environment.
• Have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and be able to work independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Have good communication skills.
• Be able to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
• Be able to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
