Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking an R&D Lab Technician to support the day-to-day operation of the Seasoning laboratory. You will provide hands-on technical support to seasoning development, ensure equipment and samples are ready and compliant with quality, safety and EHS standards, and assist with prototype preparation and lab trials.

Qualified candidates will have 3+ years in a lab/R&D support role, experience with GMP, hygiene, EHS, and strong planning, problem solving and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a laboratory or R&D support role.
• Experience with laboratory operations, equipment maintenance and documentation.
• Knowledge of GMP, hygiene and EHS requirements in food/beverage industries.
• Strong planning, organization and time management skills.
• Good problem solving and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operation of the R&D Seasoning laboratory.
• Provide hands-on technical support to seasoning development and functionality.
• Ensure laboratories, equipment, materials and samples are ready and compliant with quality, food safety and EHS standards.
• Support prototype preparation, lab trials, plant trials, sample shipment, and documentation.
• Coordinate capability readiness across the Hub.

Responsibilities

Job Purpose The R amp D Lab Technician is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the R amp D Seasoning laboratory This role provides hands‑on technical support to Seasoning development functionality and supports other R amp D teams by ensuring laboratories equipment materials and samples are ready and managed efficiently safely and in compliance with quality food safety and EHS standards The role also supports prototype preparation lab trials plant trials sample shipment documentation and capability readiness across the Hub

Qualifications

Experience Required Minimum 3 years of experience in a laboratory pilot plant quality or R amp D support role preferably within the food beverage FMCG or related industry Experience supporting laboratory operations equipment maintenance calibration sample preparation and documentation Experience working within food safety GMP hygiene and EHS requirements is preferred Knowledge Skills amp Competencies Good understanding of laboratory operations equipment handling and technical support activities Knowledge of food safety hygiene GMP and applicable EHS requirements Strong planning organizing and time management skills Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills including root cause analysis and follow‑up of corrective actions Ability to work independently with a high level of ownership and discipline Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions without direct reporting relationships Ability to coach guide and support others in following procedures and requirements Good computer literacy and ability to maintain accurate technical records Good command of English
