Job summary

About the Role

Develop and implement comprehensive quality management systems for railway operations, lead audits, analyse data, drive improvements, manage risks, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality management systems for railway operations
  • Lead and conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Analyse quality data and metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential risks
  • Implement root cause analysis and corrective action processes to address quality issues
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation, including policies, procedures, and work instructions
  • Provide leadership and guidance to quality team members and other departments on quality‑related matters
  • Ensure compliance with local and international railway safety standards and regulations
  • Manage and mitigate quality‑related risks in railway operations
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in quality management
What do we need from you
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in quality management, preferably in the railway industry
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
  • Extensive knowledge of quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis, statistical process control, and Lean Six Sigma techniques
  • Strong understanding of railway industry standards, regulations, and safety management systems
  • Experience with quality management software and data analysis tools
