Position Summary
We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Inspection Lead to oversee, manage, and improve the quality of courier services in the field. You will lead a team of field inspectors conducting on-ground audits and inspections, ensuring couriers comply with quality, safety, and hygiene standards in line with company policy and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate a team of field inspectors and auditors.
- Conduct inspections of couriers, assessing uniform appearance, hygiene, ID badges, and the condition of vehicles/delivery equipment.
- Audit service quality including timeliness, communication, handling, customer interaction, and safety.
- Monitor courier performance via ride-alongs, live supervision, incident reports, and customer feedback.
- Ensure compliance with appearance, hygiene, and delivery equipment cleanliness standards.
- Develop and maintain inspection checklists, SOPs, KPIs, and quality audit tools.
- Collaborate with training and acquisition teams to define and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Organize and oversee periodic retraining or coaching sessions for couriers.
- Perform regular audits and unannounced spot checks.
- Ensure adherence to Saudi regulations related to courier safety, hygiene, and food handling.
- Maintain detailed documentation including inspection reports, incident logs, and quality improvement plans.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in quality inspection within 3PL, logistics, or courier operations.
- Familiarity with courier service standards for appearance, hygiene, and safety.
- Proven experience in developing inspection SOPs, checklists, and audit processes.
- Knowledge of applicable Saudi regulations regarding courier operations, food safety, and hygiene compliance.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify areas for operational improvement.
