Job summary

A leading construction company in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure construction work meets quality standards and project specifications. You will conduct site inspections, oversee material testing, and maintain quality documentation. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering and 3–7 years of experience in QA/QC within residential projects. Strong communication and coordination skills are essential.

Job description

Leverage your technical abilities and join the dynamic team of a leading Saudi company specializing in construction and real estate development across the Kingdom.

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring that construction work meets the required quality standards and project specifications. You will conduct site inspections, oversee material testing, coordinate with contractors, and maintain quality documentation to support smooth project execution and client satisfaction.

Key Accountabilities
  • Execute and monitor QA/QC plans in alignment with project specifications and client requirements.
  • Conduct site inspections for structural and finishing works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and quality standards.
  • Verify materials and workmanship, and coordinate required material testing (concrete, steel, aggregates, coatings, waterproofing) with certified laboratories.
  • Record non-conformities (NCRs) and follow up on corrective and preventive actions until closure.
  • Review and approve ITPs, Method Statements, Material Submittals, and Shop Drawings before site execution.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that materials and workmanship meet the required standards.
  • Maintain accurate and organized quality documentation, including inspection records, test reports, and NCR logs.
  • Provide routine quality updates and participate in project and progress meetings.
  • Support the QA/QC Manager in implementing ISO 9001 quality procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
