- Lead the site in developing a culture where product quality is seen as central to our operation and products are made right the first time.
- Be the ambassador of quality for the site, providing confidence to customers that high‑quality, consistent product is delivered to the stores every time.
- To implement and ensure effective delivery of the Quality Control System.
- To define site quality strategy, delivering a plan for quality objectives and KPI’s, contributing to overall site strategy.
Quality Team Management
- Manage and support the quality team to provide comprehensive quality control support to the operations team.
Operational Support & Utilization
- To support the team in ensuring maximum utilisation of operational staff and equipment in achieving KPIs and optimal line efficiency within the company safety, quality & environmental policies.
Health & Safety Culture
- To encourage and develop a culture where Health and Safety is first and foremost with every task carried out, ensuring the safety of those in our control.
Continuous Improvement & Flexibility
- To promote an environment that challenges existing processes and strives for excellence through continuous improvement & flexibility.
Food Safety & Quality Management
- Responsible for maintaining food safety and food quality policy.
- Maintain and adhere to FSSC standard requirements.
- Ensure the FSMS is established, implemented, maintained and updated.
- Manage and organize the work of the food safety team.
- Ensure relevant training and competencies for the food safety team.
- Report to top management on the effectiveness and suitability of the FSMS.
