A leading electrical engineering company in Riyadh is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to maintain quality standards through effective management of QMS documentation, calibration, audits, and inspections. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, along with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience. Key responsibilities include developing QA/QC procedures, conducting audits, and managing inspection activities for Low Voltage Panels. Job Purpose: To ensure the implementation and maintenance of quality standards through effective management of QMS documentation, calibration activities, audits, and inspection processes. Responsible for producing accurate reports, resolving non-conformance issues, and collaborating with customers and third-party inspectors to uphold product and service quality in alignment with ISO standards.
Quality Management System (QMS) Documentation:
Develop and maintain QA/QC procedures and formats to ensure consistency and compliance with quality standards.
Establish and oversee ISO documentation processes, including the creation and management of Corrective Action Reports (CAR) and Continual Improvement Records.
Calibration Activities:
Coordinate external calibration processes, including the preparation of Purchase Requisitions (PR), and manage the dispatch and reception of instruments.
Oversee internal calibration activities, ensuring proper supervision of instrument calibration and preparing comprehensive reports.
Audit and Compliance:
Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards and organizational quality requirements.
Inspection and Testing Planning:
Develop and manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) for all relevant quality processes.
Plan and coordinate inspection and testing activities for Low Voltage (LV) Panels.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare detailed test reports for inspected panels, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and follow through diligently until resolution.
Customer Interaction and Finalization:
Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with Third-Party Inspectors (TPI) and customer representatives to ensure product quality and compliance.
Address and resolve comments on the punch list provided by TPI/Customers, ensuring timely closure and customer satisfaction.
HR Proficiency:
Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job.
Delivery:
Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
Provide a periodic report detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.
Problem-Solving:
Solve any related problems that arise and escalate any complex operational issues.
Quality:
Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.
Business Process Improvements:
Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities as much as possible.
Compliance:
Comply with related policy and procedures and work instructions.
Health, Safety, and Environment:
Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
