Requirements
- Education: bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years of working experience, preferably in Electric Utility Industry, High Voltage (HV), Extra High Voltage (EHV), Control Centers and Telecom projects.
- Minimum: 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Control.
- 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Control, Transmission projects, Control Centers and Telecom projects.
- Certifications: SCE Certified, Client approval as QAQC Civil Engineer ISO9001 (Lead/Internal Auditor)
Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure that the civil activities are executed in compliance with the scope of work, approved design, project technical specifications, industry and client-specified standards, and method statements.
- Implement the Project Quality Plan, Quality Control Procedure, ITP, and checklists.
- Implement the Algihaz Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015) at assigned projects.
- Review material submittals before submission to the client.
- Carry out internal inspections for the work executed by the operations team or subcontractors.
- Inspect all incoming materials with reference to the MIRN inspection procedure and ensure their storage complies with the MSDS and handling & storage procedures.
- Submit daily and weekly inspection look-ahead schedules to the client and consultant.
- Raise inspection requests (RFI/RMI) as per SOP, ITP, and Schedule C, and coordinate with the client’s representatives to get their approval.
- Implement and use automation management tools such as Unifier, Oracle systems, etc.
- Review, inspect, and monitor subcontractor activities on-site to ensure adherence to QMS requirements.
- Attend weekly meetings with the client and submit periodic reports as required.
- Promptly address customer complaints received in any form (NCR, observation, site instruction, logbook, audit, etc.), and conduct regular follow-up for effective closure.
