Job description

The project

This is an opportunity to be involved in the delivery of major sports stadiums and associated projects in Saudi Arabia. Mace is currently delivering the programme which will require high-calibre and experienced people to lead teams throughout each phase of the project.

You’ll be responsible for:
  • Provide strategic oversight of the project’s quality assurance framework, ensuring the construction supervision consultant (CSC) implements robust QA/QC processes aligned with ISO 9001 and project-specific requirements.
  • Review and approve the general contractor’s quality plans, inspection test plans, audit schedules, and non-conformance management systems.
  • Monitor CSC reporting on non-conformances, root cause analyses, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring lessons learned are captured and shared.
  • Conduct periodic quality audits and reviews, escalating systemic quality issues to project leadership for resolution.
  • Champion a culture of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across all project teams through training and awareness initiatives.
  • Prepare and present quality performance reports and recommendations to senior stakeholders, supporting informed decision-making.
  • Promote continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues, recommending process enhancements, and tracking implementation effectiveness.
  • Engage with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure alignment on quality expectations and foster collaborative problem-solving.
You’ll need to have:
  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/ programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
  • Professional qualification (or equivalent).
  • 12+ years of experience.
