A leading logistics company in Riyadh is seeking a QHSE Officer to ensure safety compliance across warehouse operations. The role involves risk management, policy development, and training to foster a strong safety culture. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of relevant experience and professional certifications. This position comes with responsibilities for audits, inspections, and incident investigations, contributing to a safer work environment.
Ensuring the warehouse(s) operates in full compliance with the organization’s Integrated Management S (IMS) and local safety and environmental regulations and requirements.
Performing risk assessments to identify potential hazards, such as those related to moving equipment, heavy lifting, or chemical storage, and developing plans to mitigate them.
To assist in developing and updating safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents. Implementing the IMS procedures to improve the overall safety and quality of work processes in the warehouse.
Establish, maintain, and improve the company's QHSE Management System in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.
Conducting regular site inspections and internal audits to monitor compliance, identify non‑conformities, and ensure equipment and facilities are safe.
Investigating workplace accidents, incidents, and health complaints to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Delivering in‑house health and safety trainings as per the Training Plan & Matrix to warehouse staff to raise awareness and promote a strong safety culture.
Assisting in the coordination of activities during emergencies and ensuring life‑saving equipment, such as fire extinguishers and alarm systems, is inspected and maintained. Mock drills are conducted as planned.
Coordination with the vendors for their service schedule and ensure the work is completed safely in a timely manner. Issuing PTW and ensuring strict compliance.
Achieving set Weekly / Monthly KPIs / targets and timely reporting to the line Manager. Maintaining the KPIs evidence. Preparing an action plan for non‑compliance to achieve the QHSE objectives.
Maintaining all QHSE records related to the warehouse, MHE inspections, audits and other IMS and legally required documents / certificates.

Experience:
Proven experience of minimum 3 years in a similar QHSE role, preferably within an industrial, FMCG or Retail warehouse.
Fluent in English reading, writing and speaking
