Position Summary

KBR is looking for a QA/QC Instrument Engineer to carry out technical and supervisory responsibilities based on knowledge of international standards and codes related to mechanical works in accordance with the organization's standard.

Responsibilities
  • Can supervise & follow up instrumentation progress of works, installation & commissioning of different units.
  • Able to plan & control the inspection of all instrumentation works and related activities.
  • With experience in testing & commissioning of instrumentation works.
  • Monitor the final inspection of completed instrumentation works before handing over to the client.
  • Able to review instrumentation shop drawings and vendor drawings for compliance with contract documents.
  • Review instrumentation materials submittals for compliance with contract documents.
  • Review instrumentation specifications & calculations for conformance with contract documents.
  • Implement the SATORP instrumentation quality assurance plan.
  • Review as‑built drawings of instrumentation work, operation & maintenance manuals and warranty.
  • Make sure for compliances of all safety procedures.
  • Encourage reporting of unsafe acts and conditions.
  • Comply with all SHE procedures prior to commencement and during work.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree holder in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in oil & gas maintenance.
  • Strong technical understanding of maintenance jobs related to quality assurance.
  • Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
  • Proven leadership skills with large organizations.
  • High maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems.
  • Strategic management skills.
