Job summary

A leading oil & gas company is seeking a QA / QC Inspector Instrumentation to ensure quality in instrumentation works within projects. The successful candidate will have 4-6 years of experience, a diploma in Instrumentation Engineering, and strong knowledge of QA / QC procedures. The role includes conducting inspections, verifying compliance with standards, and preparing Inspection & Test Plans. This is a full-time position based in Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4-6 years of QA / QC experience in instrumentation within oil & gas EPC or industrial projects.
  • Knowledge of international codes and standards such as ISA, IEC, ANSI, API, and ISO.
  • Familiarity with instrumentation installation, calibration, and commissioning procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections for installation, calibration, testing, and commissioning of instrumentation systems.
  • Verify material certificates and quality records for conformity with project specifications.
  • Prepare and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for instrumentation activities.
  • Conduct incoming material inspections per QA / QC requirements.
  • Review diagrams for accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
  • Monitor installation activities for compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Identify and document non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with teams to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate daily inspection reports and quality documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA / QC Inspector Instrumentation to oversee and ensure the quality of all instrumentation works within industrial oil & gas or construction projects. The role involves conducting inspections verifying installations reviewing documentation and ensuring compliance with project specifications international standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections for installation calibration testing and commissioning of instrumentation systems including transmitters control valves sensors PLC / DCS systems and field instruments.
  • Verify material certificates calibration reports and quality records to ensure conformity with project specifications and standards.
  • Prepare and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) specific to instrumentation activities.
  • Conduct incoming material inspections and ensure compliance with QA / QC requirements.
  • Review loop diagrams wiring diagrams and instrument datasheets for accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
  • Monitor installation activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings project specifications and international codes (ISA IEC ANSI).
  • Identify and document non-conformities raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coordinate with construction commissioning and engineering teams to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate daily inspection reports checklists and quality documentation.
  • Ensure all work adheres to health safety and environmental standards and project QA / QC procedures.
Essential Qualifications
  • Diploma / Degree in Instrumentation Engineering Electrical & Electronics or related field.
  • Minimum 4 6 years of QA / QC experience in instrumentation within oil & gas EPC or industrial projects.
  • Knowledge of international codes and standards such as ISA IEC ANSI API and ISO.
  • Familiarity with instrumentation installation calibration and commissioning procedures.
Skills Required
  • Strong knowledge of instrumentation QA / QC procedures and documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs loop diagrams and wiring schematics.
  • Proficient in using testing and calibration equipment.
