KBR is looking for a QA/QC Engineer — to carry out technical and supervisory responsibilities based on knowledge of international standards and codes related to mechanical works in accordance with the organization's standard.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise & follow up Mechanical Rotating progress of works, installation & commissioning of different units.
  • Plan & control the inspection of all Mechanical Rotating works and related activities.
  • Experience in testing & commissioning of Mechanical Rotating works.
  • Monitor the final inspection of completed Mechanical Rotating works before handing over to the client.
  • Review Mechanical shop drawings and vendor drawings for compliance with contract documents.
  • Review Mechanical materials submittals for compliance with contract documents.
  • Review Mechanical specifications & calculations for conformance with contract documents.
  • Implement the Mechanical Quality Assurance Plan.
  • Review as-built drawings of Mechanical works, operation & maintenance manuals and warranty documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures.
  • Encourage reporting of unsafe acts and conditions.
  • Comply with all SHE procedures prior to commencement and during work.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree holder in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in Oil & Gas maintenance.
  • Strong technical understanding of maintenance jobs related to quality assurance.
  • Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
  • Proven leadership skills with large organizations.
  • Sound judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems.
  • Strategic management skills.
