A leading service provider in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Pump Service Specialist to oversee pump maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and manage service technicians. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of experience in pump services and strong knowledge of hydraulic systems. Job Title: Pump Service Specialist
To oversee and execute pump maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services while ensuring high-quality performance, timely service delivery, and customer satisfaction. The Pump Service Specialist will also manage and guide a team of service technicians to achieve departmental objectives.
Perform inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of various types of pumps (centrifugal, submersible, vertical, and others).
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in pumping systems and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Ensure proper assembly, disassembly, and testing of pumps according to manufacturer standards and safety regulations.
Manage day-to-day service operations, assign tasks, and monitor team performance to ensure timely completion of service jobs.
Supervise workshop and on-site service activities, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
Prepare detailed service reports, including failure analysis and recommendations for improvement.
Provide technical support and guidance to service technicians and clients.
Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and service equipment.
Coordinate with clients and internal departments for scheduling and execution of service contracts.
Drive continuous improvement in service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Education: Diploma or Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of hands‑on experience in pump services, troubleshooting, and repair.
Proven experience in managing a service team and handling multiple service assignments.
Strong knowledge of pump systems, hydraulics, and mechanical components.
Familiarity with preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
Basic knowledge of electrical controls and instrumentation (preferred).
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
