Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Supervisor - Traffic Management (Saudi National) to join our team! In this role, you will oversee field operations for transportation projects, ensuring technical implementation, quality control, and efficient execution of on-site activities to meet project timelines and standards.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Supervise and coordinate project teams to ensure all on-site activities are carried out efficiently, in compliance with operating procedures, safety standards, and project specifications.
  • Develop and implement work plans, including work breakdown structures, timelines, and resource allocation for field implementation of transportation systems.
  • Monitor technical implementation of project elements, such as ITS installations, traffic signal deployments, and infrastructure integrations, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
  • Conduct quality control inspections, audits, and testing to verify compliance with design standards, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance protocols.
  • Report on field progress, including milestones, variances, risks, and mitigation strategies, to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to facilitate coordination, resolve conflicts, and ensure seamless on-site operations.
  • Manage change requests, site surveys, and defect resolutions, ensuring timely approvals and documentation.
  • Enforce safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and promote continuous improvement in field processes and practices.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and local authorities, to address field-related issues and ensure project alignment.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8+ years of field supervision experience, with a strong technical implementation background in transportation or infrastructure projects.
  • Proven expertise in quality control, including inspections, testing, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage teams in dynamic field environments.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6) and technical software relevant to transportation systems.
  • Excellent communication skills for reporting, stakeholder coordination, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English is required.
