Job summary

A leading oil & gas company in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead project planning and execution. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of project management experience, preferably in EPC projects, and strong leadership and communication skills. Required qualifications include a degree in Engineering and registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers. This role involves ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Job description

Department: Operations Department

Reports To: Head of Projects / Operations Manager

Job Summary: Directs, coordinates and exercises functional authority for planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of the project within area of assigned responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Plans, directs and coordinates activities of designated projects to ensure that objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
• Reviews project plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of projects.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
• Monitor project progress and report to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Address risks and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Must be a college or university graduate preferably in the field of Engineering or related field, professionally licensed and with studies leading to higher level of education.
• At least 8-10 years (post qualification) work experience in project management experience in oil & gas.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Preferred

• PMP or equivalent certification.
• Experience with EPC projects in GCC region.

Other Requirements

• Must register with Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Driving license is mandatory.
