Job description

Client: Major GCC Bank

Engagement: Treasury & Investments Mandate

12-month initial contract - with extensions

Fluent Arabic speakers required

I'm supporting a major bank in Riyadh as they progress into Phase 2 of their Murex implementation, following a successful go-live with FX products.

This next phase focuses on expanding across Treasury and Investment products, and I'm looking for a Murex-savvy Project Manager to help drive it.

As part of the my client's delivery team, you'll work closely with the bank's Chief of Treasury, who’s newly appointed and deeply invested in the success of this programme. You'll act as both a governance partner and quality assurance lead, managing multiple stakeholders across Treasury, Risk, Finance, and Back Office.

The environment includes the client, Murex (as the vendor), and a separate implementation partner, so confident stakeholder control and diplomacy are critical.

You’ll need to be technically strong in Murex, able to challenge and guide discussions across the delivery teams, and ensure programme milestones are met with the right level of oversight and quality.

What we're looking for:
  • Proven experience delivering Murex implementations within Treasury or Capital Markets environments
  • Strong technical and functional understanding of Murex
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, especially with C-suite audiences
  • Ability to navigate complex vendor landscapes and manage relationships diplomatically
  • Arabic speaking preferred (some communication barriers on the client side)
  • Iqama required for onsite engagement in Riyadh
