The project

This is an opportunity to be involved in the delivery of major sports stadiums and associated projects in Saudi Arabia. Mace is currently delivering the programme which will require high-calibre and experienced people to lead teams throughout each phase of the project.

You’ll be responsible for:
  • Oversee the general contractor’s delivery of external works—including hardscape, softscape, utilities, roadworks, and carparks—ensuring alignment with authority and operational requirements.
  • Provide strategic guidance to the construction supervision consultant (CSC) on quality, sequencing, and integration of external works, including stormwater management, grading, and landscaping.
  • Supervise delivery of the Family Park Zone and Amphitheatre, underground utilities, green spaces, player tunnels for field access, and stormwater detention tanks and tie‑ins.
  • Oversee future facilities including football golf, football academy, welcome building, underground utilities, green spaces, and two ancillary buildings (G+2).
  • Manage delivery of the VIP car park with solar PV shades, player tunnels for field access, and underground wet and dry utility services.
  • Review and approve design changes, material selections, logistics plans, and sustainability initiatives to ensure long‑term performance and environmental compliance.
  • Monitor CSC’s inspection and quality assurance processes, ensuring timely resolution of defects and readiness for handover.
  • Escalate risks, non‑conformances, or interface issues to project leadership, while championing innovation and best practices in external works delivery.
You’ll need to have:
  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/ programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
  • Professional qualification (or equivalent).
  • 15+ years of experience.
